By optimizing the internal grain structure, this process produces components with superior strength, toughness, and fatigue resistance. It is particularly suitable for medium to large shafts, industrial gear shafts, heavy machinery components, and structural blocks. Depending on specific requirements, these forged blanks can also undergo heat treatment—including normalizing, quenching, tempering, or annealing—to further enhance their mechanical properties and prepare them for downstream processing.
